New French Bakery Pandor Now Open in Newport Beach The name Pandor was inspired by the French words for golden bread, Pain d'Or. Sepetjian and her husband Raffi have an appreciation for the art of French baking. I dig through my books this season and thought that these are the most used – and most loved – of all: Vegetables From An Italian Garden, The Art of French Baking, Ladurée Sucré, and Home Made. Its soft and little crunch on the outside. Picked up this book the other day, it's a very beautiful book called 'The Art Of French Baking' with lovely illustrations. Parisian Custard or Flan 'a la parisienne is a French custard. The result is Beaucoup Bakery and Café. Upon returning to Vancouver, she sought a way to combine her love of both the comforting North American baking she grew up with and the delicate art of French pastry-making. This recipe sounds just like the one I inherited from my mother-in-law. I'm just hoping the recipes are easy enough for me as I find French cooking can sometimes be tricky. I've just moved to Chicago for four months to attend L'Art du Gateau at the French Pastry School and don't have a kitchen to cook in for myself.
